Alessandra Ferraro

Alessandra Ferraro is a teacher of French literature and Francophone literatures at the University of Udine. Here, she co-founded the Centro di Cultura Canadese and the Centro Internazionale di Ricerca sulle Letterature Migranti. She co-directs the journal Oltreoceano. Rivista sulle migrazioni (Udine), and she is a member of the Editorial Board of Italian Canadiana (Toronto) and of the scientific committee of Ponti. Ponti. Lingue, letterature, civiltà dei paesi francofoni (Milano). She is author of the volume Écriture migrante et translinguisme au Québec (Venezia, 2014), she curated various collective works on the literatures and the cultures of Canada, and with Rainier Grutman she edited L’autotraduction littéraire: perspectives théoriques (Parigi, 2016). With Élisabeth Nardout-Lafarge she edits the “Littérature québécoise” series of the Bibliothèque francophone of Classiques Garnier (Paris).
